This is an in-person and online event.

Location: New York Avenue Presbyterian Church 1313 New York Ave NW, Waskington, DC

Time: 10 AM - 2 PM

Rosanne Haggerty serves as President of Community Solutions, a leading national organization focused on reducing and ultimately ending homelessness. She is scheduled to speak at a community gathering at New York Avenue Presbyterian Church in downtown Washington, DC, at 10 AM EDT on Saturday, April 18. This 90-minute event is co-sponsored by the Washington Interfaith Network (WIN) and will also be accessible as a webinar for those unable to attend in person. Ms. Haggerty will offer an inspiring vision on addressing the needs of all our unhoused neighbors and will encourage congregations and individuals to engage in this work in innovative and more effective ways. Faith leaders will present foundational information on homelessness in our community, and there will be an opportunity for attendees to ask questions and share feedback.

Following the morning session, a luncheon workshop will take place from Noon to 2 PM for those interested in collaborating with Ward 2 congregations in Washington, DC on new cooperative initiatives in the downtown area. Representatives from congregations actively assisting unhoused individuals will share insights about their efforts and collaborate with Rosanne Haggerty to strategize on engaging people and making a community impact. A complimentary lunch will be provided, so it is essential to know the number of attendees. If you wish to participate in the workshop, please select the registration option that includes both the luncheon meeting and the general convening at 10 AM. REGISTER HERE
